Abstract: A system (100) and method for reconfigurable intelligent surface control using distributed edge feedback and predictive phase optimization for wireless propagation shaping are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a memory (102), a processor (104), a communication module (106), an edge feedback acquisition module (108), an environmental analysis module (110), a predictive phase optimization module (112), and a propagation shaping control module (114). The edge feedback acquisition module (108) collects distributed feedback information associated with wireless propagation conditions from one or more edge computing entities. The environmental analysis module (110) analyzes channel characteristics, propagation conditions, interference information, and network performance parameters. The predictive phase optimization module (112) generates predictive phase configuration parameters for one or more reconfigurable intelligent surfaces using predictive modeling mechanisms. The propagation shaping control module (114) dynamically controls phase characteristics to shape wireless signal propagation behavior.
