Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING USING BLOCKCHAIN AND ELLIPTIC CURVE CRYPTOGRAPHY Provided is a system (100) and method (300) for secure remote patient monitoring using blockchain and elliptic curve cryptography. The system (100) comprises a patient-side monitoring subsystem (102) including one or more biomedical sensors (104) and a microcontroller (106) configured to acquire physiological parameters, initialize elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) parameters, generate ECC-based public and private key credentials, compute a cryptographic hash, derive a session key, encrypt the physiological parameters, and append freshness information. Further, the system (100) comprises a blockchain authentication subsystem (110) configured to authenticate the patient- side monitoring subsystem (102) and store blockchain-validated cryptographic identity records. Moreover, the system (100) comprises a cloud communication and storage subsystem (108) configured to relay encrypted physiological data without decryption. The system (100) further comprises a hospital-side monitoring subsystem (114) configured to perform ECC-based challenge-response authentication, derive a shared session key, decrypt the encrypted physiological data, and present the physiological parameters for remote patient monitoring.
