Inventors include Sourabh Mehndiratta; Swapna Satyanarayan; Neeraja Lakshmi Ajoy Kumar; Gobikumaar Sivagnanam; and Bharath Raj Sree Ramulu.
The application for the patent was published on November 06, 2026, under issue no. 45/2026.
Abstract: A system (102) and a method (600) for secured charging is configured to receive vehicle parameters from user devices (106) corresponding to the vehicles (310). Further, the system (102) is configured to prioritize the vehicles (310) to trigger an overhead charging arm (308) to move towards a location of the vehicles (310). Upon prioritizing, performing a first-level authentication using a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader (412) and a Radio Frequency (RF) identifier (410) to actuate a charging flap (402). Upon successful first-level authentication, performing a second-level authentication by enabling a charging gun of the overhead charging arm (308) to emit Infrared (IR) signals to activate IR sensors (408) for actuating a charging lid (404). Further, coupling the charging gun to a charging port (406) based on the successful first-level and second-level authentication to perform charging operations. The system (102) incorporates multifactor authentication, ensuring efficient and reliable charging operations.
