The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: A system (100) and a method (200) for sustainability evaluation of a tourism destination are disclosed. The system (100) includes a processor (102) configured to receive tourism-related assessment data from a set of devices (106) including field survey devices, geospatial datasets, infrastructural datasets, environmental datasets, administrative datasets, and secondary information sources. The processor (102) validates the received data based on timestamp information and geographic coordinate information, organizes the data into a hierarchical assessment structure including sustainability parameters, sub-parameters, and measurable indicators, and assigns predefined weighted values. Indicator scores are generated according to predefined scoring criteria and normalized prior to aggregation for computing a composite sustainability score. The processor (102) classifies a tourism destination into a sustainability category based on predefined threshold ranges and generates sustainability assessment outputs including a comparative sustainability index, a classification report, a spatial sustainability map, a monitoring summary, and alert notifications.
