MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073665 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for System And Method For Voltage Homogenization Of A Battery Pack.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VOLTAGE HOMOGENIZATION OF A BATTERY PACK The present invention relates to a battery voltage homogenization system (100) and method (200) for reducing voltage imbalance among a plurality of battery cells. The system (100) comprises a battery pack (102), a reconfiguration arrangement (104), a voltage sensing arrangement (106), and a control arrangement (108). The voltage sensing arrangement (106) obtains individual cell voltages, and the control arrangement (108) actuates the reconfiguration arrangement (104) to transition the battery pack (102) from an operational battery-pack topology to an electrically isolated intermediate topology and subsequently to a homogenization topology in which the battery cells are electrically connected in parallel. The method (200) comprises obtaining (202) individual cell voltages, transitioning (204), establishing (206), monitoring (208), and restoring (210) the battery pack upon satisfaction of a predefined voltage convergence criterion, thereby enabling direct charge redistribution and voltage homogenization among the battery cells. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
