MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621053543 A) filed by Sage University on April 27, 2026, for System And Method For Wine Sample Quality Grade Prediction.

Inventors include Ms. Sakshi Agrawal; Shubhi Tripathi; Dr. Ati Jain; and Prof. Vaishali Bajpai.

The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a system and method for wine sample quality grade prediction. The system (102) comprises an input interface (104) configured to acquire a set of physicochemical measurements and a wine type indicator from a wine sample, and a signal preprocessor (106) configured to append a binary encoded wine type indicator to the physicochemical measurements to generate a combined feature vector treating the wine type indicator as a co-equal predictive feature. The hardware processor (108) normalizes the combined feature vector using stored scaling parameters retrieved from a memory (120) and executes a trained ensemble classifier on the scaled feature vector to generate a discrete quality grade and a set of computed importance scores in a single classification operation. The hardware processor (108) generates a ranked importance output identifying a most influential physicochemical measurement driving the discrete quality grade for targeted corrective action at a production line.
