Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION 36 System and Method of Generating Application Specific Keys Using Key Derived from Network Access Authentication A method of generating an Application specific keys for obtaining Authentication and Key Agreement for Applications (AKMA) services in a wireless communication network, the method comprising steps of receiving (301), by an application function (AF) (403), an application session establishment request message from a UE (401), wherein the application session establishment request message comprises AKMA key ID associated with KAKMA, a first UE (401) identity parameter used as an external identifier (GPSI), a routing identifier (RI), and a freshness parameter (CounterAKMA). Identifying (303), by the AF (403), a first network element AKMA Anchor Function (AAnF) (405) based on the RI provisioned by a home network. Deriving, by a second network element (AUSF)(407), a network side AKMA Key (KAKMA) based on at least one of a network side key (KAUSF), SUPI, GPSI, and RI, and deriving (313), by the first network element (AAnF)(405), a network side application specific key (KAF) based on at least one of the network side AKMA key (KAKMA), an application ID (AF ID), the first application identity parameter (GPSI), the routing ID (RI), and the freshness parameter (CounterAKMA).
