The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MULTIMODAL ELEVATOR CONTROL A multimodal elevator control system (100) is disclosed for providing accessible, contactless, and adaptive interaction with elevator interfaces. The multimodal elevator control system (100) comprises a controller (102) operatively coupled to a touchscreen input module (104) having a graphical user interface (104a), a gaze-tracking module (106) including an image sensor (106a) and a gaze-processing unit (106b), an offline multilingual voice-recognition module (108) comprising acoustic and language models (108a) and a speech-processing unit (108b), a command- mapping unit (110), a feedback module (112), and a hardware interface (114). The controller (102) receives user inputs from the touchscreen input module (104), the gaze-tracking module (106), or the voice-recognition module (108), dynamically prioritizes the input modality based on data received from an ambient noise sensor (116) and an ambient light sensor (118), and automatically switches between the input modalities when required.
