The system functions by taking structured organizational data and putting it through a rigorous preprocessing phase, which includes cleaning, encoding, and normalization to ensure the information is ready for analysis. At its core, the product employs a divisive hierarchical clustering algorithm that treats each member as a set of numerical attributes and calculates the distance or similarity between them.
