Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and process for pyrolysis of biomass and biosolids. More particularly, the present invention provides a novel system for pyrolysis of biomass and biosolids comprising of a rotary dryer, modular preprocessing unit, feed handling system with load-cell control, isothermal pyrolysis reactor, four-stage condensation system, a gas filtration and syngas recirculation loop and a flue gas scrubbing unit. Also, the present invention discloses a catalyst free novel process for pyrolysis of biomass and biosolids.
