Abstract: ABSTRACT System for Advanced Energy Metering and Automated Load Control and Method Thereof The present invention discloses a system and method for advanced energy metering and automated control of electrical loads. The system comprises a microcontroller unit interfaced with a digital energy meter, a relay module, a wireless communication module, a real time clock module and a plurality of sensors for real-time monitoring, prepaid billing, and load control. The wireless communication module enables remote switching of the loads through a mobile communication device, while a motion sensor and a flame sensor enable automatic control based on occupancy and safety conditions. The system supports prepaid credit tracking with notification alerts, automatic disconnection upon credit exhaustion, and time based scheduling of the loads during peak and off-peak hours, making it suitable for smart homes and buildings.
