MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611056178 A) filed by Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies - Technical Campus on May 03, 2026, for System For Autonomous Multi-Agent Query Processing And Response Verification.

Inventors include Dr. Deepika Bhatia; Arnav; Ayush Chauhan; and Aditya Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to computer-implemented information retrieval and response generation systems, and particularly to a system and method employing autonomous multi-agent orchestration for context-aware query processing. An application interface layer receives a user query and associated session data, and an agent orchestration layer uses a routing agent to determine semantic intent, complexity, and contextual dependency and to generate an execution plan. One or more research agents, through a retrieval subsystem, obtain responsive evidence from a knowledge base and external sources. A reasoning agent combines the responsive evidence with contextual information from a memory module to generate a candidate answer, which is evaluated by one or more verification agents to validate or refine the candidate answer based on predefined quality conditions. A pedagogy agent reformulates an approved candidate answer into a final output adapted to user profile and session context, thereby enabling a multi-stage query processing workflow with verification-based refinement.
