Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for evaluating hydraulic resistance of an injector head integrated with an engine chamber of a liquid rocket engine under gaseous backpressure conditions. The system (100) includes a liquid-flow supply interface (5) configured to supply water to the injector head, and a blockage inducer assembly (4) insertable into the engine chamber via an engine exit. The blockage inducer assembly (4) includes a cone (1), an injection tube (2), and a cold gas inlet (3). The cone (1) restricts an annular flow area between the cone (1) and a wall of the engine chamber. A cold-gas supply arrangement delivers cold gas via the injection tube (2) to maintain gaseous backpressure at an exit side of the injector head. A water-and-gas mixture outlet (6) discharges a water-and-gas mixture. A pressure- measurement arrangement determines pressure difference for evaluating hydraulic resistance.
