The process comprises step of preparing (202), a support structure by using SLS comprising of a central base portion (101) configured to conform to a crown region of a scalp (107), and a plurality of elongated support members (102) extending from the central base portion (101); securing (204), a lace substrate (105) carrying at least one weft portion (106) of hair to each elongated support member; applying (206), a wig tape (103) over the lace substrate (105) to secure the weft portion (106) on opposing sides of each elongated support member (102); reinforcing (208), the attachment of the lace substrate (105) and the weft portion (106) to each elongated support member (102) by stitching performed after application of the wig tape (103); and attaching (210), a plurality of clips (104) to the support structure for providing stability to the said support structure for fixing on scalp (107).
