Abstract: The invention relates to real-time multilingual communication systems and methods. The system includes user devices, a communication network, a central processing system, and an output delivery portion. The central processing system includes an audio input module, a language identification module, a speech-to-text module, a translation module, a text-to-speech module, a subtitle generation module, and a user preference management module configured to process live speech streams in an overlapping streaming pipeline. The system determines a source language, incrementally generates source-language text, produces one target-language text for each active target language based on listener-specific preferences, synthesizes translated speech audio, generates timing metadata, and creates translated subtitle text temporally aligned with playback. The output delivery portion routes translated speech audio, translated subtitle text, or both to respective user devices according to preferred target language and output mode.
