MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521116978 A) filed by Jadhav, Santosh Ramesh on November 25, 2025, for System For Representation Of Photo-Electric Bits.
Inventor includes Jadhav, Santosh Ramesh.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) designed for representation of photo-electric bits. An energy source (102) emits photons of defined frequency and intensity, synthesizing a fundamental frequency, a secondary harmonic at three times, and a tertiary harmonic at five times the fundamental frequency through a discrete Fourier transform (DFT). These photons are directed by a reflector (104) toward an active region, where a P–N junction assembly (106) converts them into electrical current via the photovoltaic effect. The generated current is regulated by a diode (108) to ensure unidirectional flow, and a measurement unit (110) connected through a transmission line records electrical parameters. These measured parameters correspond to computational state representations, while the emitted photons form interference patterns controlled by phase, wavelength, and amplitude. Together, these components establish a hardware-based quantum-inspired computational unit capable of representing qubit-like states through photon-induced electrical outputs.
