Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for smart hybrid microgrid energy management and automated load control. The system (100) comprises a renewable energy source unit (102), an electrochemical energy storage unit (104), a direct current power distribution bus (106), a power conditioning interface (108), an embedded microcontroller unit (110), a multi-parameter electrical sensing subsystem (120), an algorithmic state-of-charge estimation engine (130), an automated load switching and protection apparatus (140), a fault detection and alarm subsystem (150), and a supervisory real-time human-machine interface monitoring dashboard (160). The embedded microcontroller unit (110) continuously acquires electrical parameters, estimates composite battery state-of-charge using Coulomb counting and voltage correlation techniques, and automatically controls multiple priority-based load banks according to predefined threshold conditions. The system further detects fault conditions including undervoltage, overvoltage, overcurrent, and communication failure, thereby improving energy utilisation efficiency, battery protection, automated load management, and operational reliability within hybrid microgrid environments.
