Abstract: The invention relates to pediatric product safety assessment, and particularly to a system and computer-implemented method for classifying safety of toddler personal-care products for children aged 0 to 5 years based on ingredient analysis and skin-condition assessment. A product input module receives product data via barcode, search, image, upload, or manual entry; an ingredient extraction module including an image capture and text extraction subsystem and an ingredient extraction and normalization module extracts and normalizes ingredient identities. A pediatric ingredient safety knowledgebase, a skin condition profile module, and a risk scoring and decision engine determine profile-adjusted ingredient risks and assign categories of Safe to Use, Use with Caution, or Avoid. An explanation generation module identifies contributing ingredients and concerns, and an output interface module presents classification, explanation, and ingredient review outputs.
