Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for wastewater or process liquid treatment. The system (100) may include a batch bioreactor (106) configured to receive wastewater or process liquid, a sensor assembly (102) to acquire parameters associated with the wastewater or process liquid, at least one process actuator (104) to regulate treatment conditions inside the batch bioreactor (106), and a controller (202). The controller (202) is caused to receive the parameters from the sensor assembly (102), predict target parameters based on the parameters using a predictive model, determine at least one control parameter based on the predicted target parameters, and actuate the at least one process actuator (104) to regulate the treatment conditions inside the batch bioreactor (106) based on the at least one control parameter.
