MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202644051678 A) filed by The Bank Of New York Mellon on April 23, 2026, for Systems And Methods For Governing And Provisioning Networked System Components Based On Both Physical And Logical Properties Through Unified Rule Structures.
Inventors include Oren, Marc; Pandya, Vikas; Mundo Castro, Esteban; and Patel, Yogen.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Systems and methods for governing and provisioning networked system components based on both physical and logical properties through unified rule structures. For example, the system may receive a first unified rule structure, wherein the first unified rule structure comprises a first modular rule set for a required physical rule and a required logical rule for an architecture of networked system components in a network system. The system may retrieve a first networked system model, wherein the first networked system model comprises a metamodel graph connecting the networked system components, wherein the first networked system model uses metamodel data indicating respective physical and logical endpoints for the networked system components to generate the first networked system model, and wherein the metamodel data is retrieved from respective unified modular profiles for each of the networked system components. The system may validate the first networked system model based on a first unified rule structure. Fig. 1A
