Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a HAB (300) for deploying UAVs (10a). The HAB (300) includes an avionics system (400), a communication system (500), a memory (308g), coupled to a microcontroller (308a). The avionics system (400) is configured to determine a plurality of flight parameters. The communication system (500) is configured to send heartbeat messages to a ground control station computer (202) at regular intervals and receive corresponding ACK signal. The memory (308g) to store a plurality of deployment thresholds. The microcontroller (308a) is configured to compute real-time variables. The microcontroller (308a) is configured to determine in real-time if at least one primary release condition and one or more secondary release conditions have been satisfied. The release conditions are computed by comparing one or more of the flight parameters and real-time variables with corresponding deployment thresholds. The microcontroller (308a) is configured to activate a release mechanism (308f) configured to deploy the UAVs (10a) from the HAB (300) upon satisfaction of at least one of the primary release conditions and one or more of the secondary release conditions.
