Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a tamper-responsive confidential-compute enclosure comprising an outer housing, an inner compartment for receiving a computing module, an access panel, a tamper-detection member biased by the access panel, a spring-loaded shutter arranged adjacent to a data-access port, and a mechanical evidence indicator. During unauthorised opening of the access panel, displacement of the tamper-detection member releases the spring-loaded shutter so that a port-blocking plate mechanically covers the data-access port. The data-access port may comprise a memory slot, debug port, drive bay, or communication connector associated with the computing module. The mechanical evidence indicator moves from a first state to a second state to indicate that unauthorised access occurred. The enclosure thereby physically blocks access to sensitive computing interfaces and mechanically preserves tamper evidence before software encryption, alert transmission, or remote wipe functions are required.
