The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a tannin thermochromic ink preparation apparatus comprising a feed vessel for receiving tannin-rich plant material, a grinding chamber connected to said feed vessel for converting said tannin-rich plant material into plant powder, and an extraction reactor connected to said grinding chamber for contacting said plant powder with a methanol-water solvent mixture to obtain a tannin extract. A pH conditioning reactor conditions said tannin extract, and a filter assembly separates particulate matter from said tannin extract. A rotary evaporator concentrates said tannin extract. A hydrogel reactor prepares a sodium alginate hydrogel matrix. A formulation mixer is connected to said rotary evaporator and said hydrogel reactor and combines said concentrated tannin extract, said sodium alginate hydrogel matrix, and cellulose nanofibers to obtain a temperature-responsive ink composition.
