Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for preventing bidding down attacks. A user equipment (UE) is configured to receive, from a network entity, a configuration comprising a set of frequency domain orthogonal code sequences, each frequency domain orthogonal code sequence of the set of frequency domain orthogonal code sequences comprising a sequence length different than sequence lengths of other frequency domain orthogonal code sequences of the set of frequency domain orthogonal code sequences, select at least one frequency domain orthogonal code sequence from the set of frequency domain orthogonal code sequences, multiplex uplink (UL) data associated with the UE according to the selected at least one frequency domain orthogonal code sequence, transmit a waveform carrying the multiplexed UL data associated with the UE over a physical UL shared channel (PUSCH).
