Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for drug solubility profiling utilizing temperature-sensitive chromophores, which belong to the technical field of pharmaceutical analysis and material science. The system comprises a core chromophore structure that absorbs light at specific wavelengths, producing a characteristic color, and is chemically bonded with temperature-responsive moieties. These moieties undergo structural changes in response to temperature variations, altering the electronic properties of the chromophore and resulting in a visible color shift. The chromophores are uniformly distributed within a formulation matrix, which can be a solid dispersion, lipid-based system, or polymeric matrix, to interact with a drug substance and solvent. The solvent system, chosen based on the solubility characteristics of the drug, enables solubility testing by providing a visual and quantitative assessment through temperature-induced color changes. The invention includes a spectrophotometer to measure color change intensity, determining the drug's solubility profile at different temperatures.
