Abstract: A terminal assembly (200, 750) for connecting a cable (140) to a busbar (134, 834, 934, 1134) includes a tubular body (202, 702) having a tubular portion (206, 706) disposed about a central axis (A1) and an annular end-wall (204, 704). The tubular body (202, 702) defines an elongate recess (216, 716) configured to receive a free end (142) of the cable (140) therein. The terminal assembly (200, 750) also includes a fastener (220, 720, 752) protruding outwardly from the annular end-wall (204, 704). The fastener (220, 720, 752) includes a first portion (226, 726, 756) configured to be received within the tubular body (202, 702) and a second portion (228, 728, 758) having a plurality of external threads (230, 730, 760) thereon. The terminal assembly (200, 750) further includes a coupling member (236) configured to couple the fastener (220, 720, 752) with the busbar (134, 834, 934, 1134) upon receipt of the second portion (228, 728, 758) of the fastener (220, 720, 752) within an opening (138) in the busbar (134, 834, 934, 1134). The coupling member (236) defining a plurality of internal threads (238) that engage with the plurality of external threads (230, 730, 760) on the second portion (228, 728, 758) of the fastener (220, 720, 752) to releasably secure the tubular body (202, 702) and the fastener (220, 720, 752) with the busbar (134, 834, 934, 1134).
