The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Vehicles sent into zones struck by earthquakes, floods or landslides contend with damaged roads, debris, standing water, limited visibility and unreliable communication, which restrict manual driving. This invention describes a self-driving electric rescue vehicle that fuses LiDAR, RGB, thermal, radar, RTK-GNSS and inertial data into one scene model and sorts the surrounding ground into six traversability classes. A reinforcement-learning policy uses the terrain, obstacle distance, speed and battery state to choose motion actions, which are converted to steering, throttle and brake commands for an inverter-driven electric drive train. . Responders can give spoken or typed instructions that are interpreted, checked against safety rules and then executed, with stop and hold overrides always taking priority. Battery, motor and inverter condition, sensor health and alerts are transmitted over a cloud link to a web-based command centre. The arrangement provides a unified, supervised platform for terrain-aware autonomous mobility in emergency missions.
