Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (500) for adaptive terrain traversal and precise multi sensor target detection in hazardous environments. The system (100) receives terrain and environmental data from one or more sensors (104) and processes the data to identify surface irregularities and obstacles. The system (100) drives one or more in-hub motors (106) to propel the vehicle while coordinating movement of one or more wheel legs (108) for adaptive articulation. A rocker differential assembly (110) distributes load to maintain balance across uneven terrain. One or more TPU wheels (112) provide traction and absorb shocks during traversal. A camera (114), a radar (116), and a microphone (118) capture visual, depth, and acoustic information for target detection. A sensor manipulator (120) aligns sensing units using one or more stepper motors (122), one or more servo motors (124), and one or more lead screws (126).
