Abstract: Our invention provides an automated IoT-enabled medication dispensing system comprising a motorized electromechanical dispensing chassis, an ultrasonic pulse-echo drop verification sensor housed within a dispensing chassis discharge chute, and an onboard serial GPS geolocation module. An embedded micro-controller coordinates automated medication dispensing according to a schedule, measuring real-time acoustic distance differentials at intervals during and after medication release to identify confirmed or missed dosages. Telemetry packets are submitted automatically to an asynchronous cloud backend server (e.g., FastAPI/MongoDB) for recordation. Autonomous alerts may be sent to registered caregivers should non-adherence occur or if a physical SOS signal is tripped. Inbound caregiver communications are parsed using a dual path webhook parser which resolves deterministic device control queries or dynamically synthesizes natural language clinical guidance based on a Large Language Model grounded into context-specific patient electronic health records and dosing history.
