Abstract: Described herein is a thermal management system (100) for a battery pack (200). The system (100) comprises a cooling system comprising at least one of a first cooling unit (102A) and a second cooling unit (102B) connected to the battery pack j(200). At least one of the first cooling unit (102A) is configured to enable flow of a coolant across cells (204) associated with the battery pack (200), and the second cooling unit (102B) is configured to enable flow of a liquid coolant in thermal contact with the battery pack (200). The first cooling unit (102A) and/or the second cooling unit (102B) are selected and operated based on at least a temperature of the battery pack.
