Abstract: THERMALLY CONTROLLED ADHESIVE DISPENSING END-EFFECTOR SYSTEM FOR COLLABORATIVE ROBOTS, AND A METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to robotic adhesive dispensing end-effector system (101) for dispensing adhesive medium. The robotic adhesive dispensing end-effector system (101) comprises structural support (103) configured to be attached to robotic manipulator via interchangeable mounting bracket (110). The robotic adhesive dispensing end-effector system (101) further comprises thermal melt assembly (105) disposed within structural support (103), thermal melt assembly (105) comprising heating element (105a) configured to convert adhesive medium from solid state into fluid state, and temperature sensing element (105b) configured to monitor temperature of thermal melt assembly (105). Further, robotic adhesive dispensing end-effector system (101) comprises motor-driven feed mechanism (107), configured to advance adhesive medium through thermal melt assembly (105) toward dispensing outlet (111). Furthermore, robotic adhesive dispensing end-effector system (101) comprises control system (109) configured to determine temperature of thermal melt assembly (105), and selectively enable or disable operation of motor-driven feed mechanism (107) for dispensing adhesive medium.
