Abstract: ABSTRACT THREE-DIMENSIONAL RECONSTRUCTION OF INTERIORS OF CLOSED CONTAINERS A system for three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of interiors of a closed container (e.g., a refrigerator (102)) is provided. A track (106, 502) is mounted 5 inside the refrigerator (102). A robot (108) is configured to navigate along the track (106, 502). The robot (108) may include control modules (302a-302c), and puller and pusher modules (308 and 316) that are magnetically coupled to the control modules (302a-302c). The puller module (308) may pull the control modules (302a-302c) along the track (106, 502), whereas the pusher module (316) may push the 10 control modules (302a-302c) along the track (106, 502). Each control module may include an image sensor (402) that captures images of the physical space inside the refrigerator (102). The track (106, 502) is mounted such that by navigating along the track (106, 502), the robot (108) can capture an entire scene of a physical space inside the refrigerator (102) from different angles and locations within the 15 refrigerator (102).
