Abstract: TILTABLE FACE CUSHION FOR A HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY (HMD) DEVICE The invention discloses a head mounted display (HMD) device (100) with a face cushion (106) that could be tilted as per user convenience, and a method (400) of tilting the face cushion thereof. The HMD device (100) comprises a front piece (102), a face piece (104) adjoined to the front piece and the face cushion (106) that is abutted to the face piece. The HMD device further comprises a plurality of hinges (220) that facilitates the tilting of the face cushion with respect to the front piece. The HMD device comprises a plurality of side straps (112) connecting the front piece to a rear end of the HMD device, where the plurality of side straps aids a user to fit the HMD device on a face of the user.
