Abstract: The present invention relates to a timed data expiration system designed to enhance web application security by ensuring that sensitive data is accessible only within a predefined timeframe. The system comprises a backend server that assigns a Time-to-Live (TTL) attribute to data packets, defining their specific lifespan. Frontend JavaScript frameworks are integrated into the web application's user interface layer to interpret the TTL attribute and automatically remove data packets from the user's view once the TTL expires. Encryption layers are applied to secure data packets both at rest in a cloud database and in transit between the backend server and the frontend frameworks. The cloud database is configured to store data packets with TTL attributes and ensure their deletion upon expiration. A user interface allows users to define the lifespan of their data, interacting with the backend server to set the TTL attribute based on user input.
