The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) and a method (700) for assisting a driver of a vehicle in responding to traffic light states. The system (102) includes sensors (104) and microphones (106) that capture environmental parameters such as traffic light states and vehicle movement, along with driver-specific parameters like attentiveness. A processor (108) analyzes data received from the sensors (104) and the microphones (106) and determines whether the vehicle is allowed to move based on the traffic light state. The processor (108) generates alerts to notify the driver when the vehicle is allowed to move. In addition, type and intensity of these alerts are adjusted based on a combination of the environmental and the driver-specific parameters. Additionally, the system (102) escalates or resets notifications based on driver responsiveness and disengages if unsafe conditions, such as objects in path of the vehicle, are detected.
