The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: It is herein disclosed a method performed by a target consumer network node (130) for handling a network service in a communication network. The target consumer network node (130) receives an indication from a source consumer network node (110), wherein the indication indicates a synchronization status of a network service consumed by the source consumer network node (110). The target consumer network node (130) initiates a check of the indicated synchronization status with a current synchronization status. By moving the responsibility to the target consumer network node (130) or function, to check the synchronization with a provider network node (120), the target consumer network node (130) does not have to rely anymore on the behavior of the source consumer network node (110) to make sure that the service is synchronized.
