The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The techniques described herein relate to transmission configuration indication (or alternatively, indicator) (TCI) state (TCI-state) recommendations for wireless communications. A user equipment (UE) communicates, via a first cell of a network, in accordance with one or more activated TCI-states associated with one or more target cells for a mobility procedure. The UE receives a command for the UE to switch from the first cell to a second cell of the network, the second cell including a target cell from among the one or more target cells. The UE transmits, based at least in part on the command, an uplink message indicating one or more recommendations corresponding to one or more TCI-states. The one or more recommendations include to activate, deactivate, or maintain a respective activation status for a respective TCI-state.
