Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices transmit sounding reference signals using selected antenna ports where the number of selected antenna ports may differ from the number of configured antenna ports. The configuration information includes at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set having one or more SRS resources and configured antenna ports. The UE transmits (208), to the network entity and based on an antenna port selection parameter, at least one SRS of the at least one SRS resource set from a selected number of antenna ports, where the selected number of antenna ports is different from a number of the configured antenna ports.
