In particular, the present invention relates to novel tricyclic compound as PARP1/2 inhibitor, which blocks the activity of the enzyme Poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP1/2), and plays a crucial role in DNA damage repair, particularly in cancer cells. The synthesized inhibitor molecule exhibits improved solubility, bioavailability and no haematological toxicity, which can be useful in potential cancer therapies, and defects in DNA repair pathways.
