Abstract: The present invention relates to an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted credential verification and document integrity system configured to verify whether a submitted credential corresponds to a credential registered by an authorized issuer and to analyze the submitted document for indications of visual or structural manipulation. The proposed system provides an issuer–holder–verifier workflow combining credential registration, secure credential identification, holder access, document submission, AI-assisted document analysis, verification-rule evaluation, result generation, evidence recording, authentication, and a browser-based verification dashboard. The system provides a controlled issuer environment in which an authorized issuer registers credential information and associates the credential with a unique credential identifier. A holder receives or stores the credential and presents it to a verifier. The verifier submits the credential through the verification interface. The system retrieves the corresponding registered credential information and performs document analysis to identify possible alterations, inconsistencies, or other tampering indicators. The verification engine combines credential provenance information with document-integrity analysis and produces a verification result. The result may indicate a genuine, suspicious, or invalid credential condition according to the configured verification rules. Supporting information, including detected irregularities and verification records, can be retained for subsequent review. The invention provides an integrated workflow in which credential information is registered by an issuer, made available to a holder, submitted by a verifier, analyzed for document integrity, compared with the registered credential record, and presented as a structured verification result. The system is intended to provide a controlled and auditable mechanism for detecting potentially manipulated credentials and supporting credential authenticity verification.
