Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a game apparatus for conducting a turn-based alignment game. The game apparatus comprises a playing grid defining a plurality of game positions, a visual display presenting selectable colors at the game positions, input buttons for receiving color selection and game-position selection during a game turn, and a control circuit operatively connected to the visual display and the input buttons. The control circuit causes presentation of a selected color at a selected game position, causes shifting of at least one displayed color relative to the game positions during the game turn, and fixes a resultant game state for the game turn. An evaluator determines, after fixation of the resultant game state, whether a row-wise set or a column-wise set of game positions satisfies an alignment condition based on matching colors.
