Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a two-wheeler collision response system comprising a vehicle-mountable housing, an inertial sensing unit, a controller, a location receiver, a cellular communication module, and a power management unit. The inertial sensing unit generates acceleration data and angular motion data corresponding to motion of a motorcycle or scooter. The controller validates a collision state from the acceleration data and the angular motion data, thereby distinguishing a crash-like event from ordinary riding disturbances. After validation of the collision state, the location receiver provides location coordinates to the controller. The cellular communication module transmits an emergency message containing the location coordinates to one or more stored recipients. The power management unit supplies regulated power from a vehicle battery and supports continued monitoring through vehicle-mounted electronics without requiring a rider’s mobile phone for emergency communication.
