Abstract: Provided is a system for detecting unauthorized packets transmitted between a private network and an external network. An unauthorized access detection apparatus 20 is disposed at a relay point between a private network 10 and an external network, wherein: the unauthorized access detection apparatus 20 collects IP packets transmitted between the private network 10 and the external network, converts an IP address into domain names, and records the domain names as profile information; compares the domain names of each IP packet recorded as the profile information with a preset domain list (list in which appropriate domain names are registered); and detects, as packets to be investigated, IP packets of which the domain name is diagnosed as not being within the range of appropriate domain names recorded in the domain list.
