Abstract: Provided is an underpants-shaped absorbent article (1) including an absorbent body (10) including an absorbent core (11), in which an end part of the absorbent body (10) on one side in the longitudinal direction is joined to a ventral exterior member (20) and an end part of the absorbent body (10) on the other side in the longitudinal direction is joined to a dorsal exterior member (30) when the underpants-shaped absorbent article (1) is laid in an unfolded and stretched state. The underpants-shaped absorbent article (1) has a non-joined part (50) in which the dorsal exterior member (30) is not joined to the absorbent body (10). The position of the end of the non- joined part (50) on said one side in the longitudinal direction is aligned with the position of the end of the dorsal exterior member (30) on the same side. The absorbent body (10) has longitudinally elastic members (17) that are stretchable/contractable in the longitudinal direction. The end of each longitudinally elastic member (17) on said one side in the longitudinal direction is positioned on said other side of the ventral exterior member (20), and the end of each longitudinally elastic member (17) on said other side in the longitudinal direction extends across the end of the non-joined part (50) on said one side.
