Abstract: UNITED AUTOMOBILE OPERATING SYSTEM The present disclosure provides a method (400) for generating a customized and unified operating system (OS) (100) for automobiles, comprising, receiving user inputs, by an OS generator server (102), via a web interface (104) or a client stand-alone interface (105), wherein the user inputs include selection of one or more hardware elements. Further, transmitting (402) the user inputs to an OS generator (106) from the OS generator server (102) and retrieving (403), by the OS generator (106), one or more software programs from a plurality of software program sources (103, 107, 108, 109). After retrieval, compatibility of the one or more retrieved software programs is verified (404) with the one or more hardware elements, wherein the one or more hardware elements are user-selected. Further, integrating and developing (405) the one or more compatible software programs, by the OS generator (106) and installing (406) a peripheral driver automatically, wherein the peripheral driver enables communication of the customized and unified OS (101) with the one or more hardware elements.
