Abstract: UNIVERSAL APPARATUS FOR OMNIDIRECTIONAL INTRAOPERATIVE BENDING OF SURGICAL IMPLANTS ABSTRACT The present disclosure provides a universal bender device (300) for intraoperative bending of surgical implants. The device (300) comprises a base platform (302); two support pillars (304) extending vertically therefrom and having clamping holes (306) configured to receive a nail along a nail-receiving axis; a horizontal support pillar (310) spanning the support pillars (304); a vertical screw (308) extending downward therethrough; a bending head (318) at a lower end of the vertical screw (308) configured to apply a central bending load; a pair of dowel pin guides (314) having slits configured to receive a plate edge-wise along a plate- receiving axis perpendicular to the nail-receiving axis; dowel pins (312) retaining and guiding the bending head (318); a screw rod (316) coupled to the vertical screw (308); and handles (320). The device (300) provides a three-point bending arrangement for both nail and plate bending, enabling precise intraoperative customization of surgical implants through a single integrated instrument.
