MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611110290 A) filed by Chandigarh University on September 14, 2026, for Universal Smart Bridge System For Intelligent Identification, Signal Conversion, And Wireless Device Control.
Inventor includes Deven.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a universal smart bridge system for interfacing heterogeneous electronic and electromechanical devices with a mobile device through Bluetooth. A universal input interface receives signal forms including analog, digital, infrared, radio-frequency, sensor and serial signals. A signal processing arrangement provides signal features to an edge processing unit for 10 device identification and behavior analysis. A function mapping engine associates detected signal patterns with functional representations including switching, levels, modes, directions and sensor measurements. A protocol conversion layer represents the mapped functions as Bluetooth Generic Attribute Profile services for communication with a mobile application. The mobile application generates a 15 device-specific dashboard comprising controls and monitoring elements according to the mapped functions. The arrangement further supports real-time data streaming, usage logging, automation triggers and storage of device profiles and processing information.
