Abstract: The present invention relates to a multimodal assistive communication ecosystem configured to support users with speech and language barriers through multiple communication pathways. The invention comprises a glove-based manual input subsystem using fingertip-mounted switches, a vision-based gesture recognition subsystem using MediaPipe-based hand landmark processing, and a web-based Augmentative and Alternative Communication interface configured for multilingual text and speech output. Inputs received from the glove subsystem or the vision subsystem are processed and mapped to predefined phrases, which are communicated through text display, synthesized speech, and Bluetooth transmission. The architecture is modular, cost-effective, and expandable, thereby enabling independent or integrated use of its subsystems according to user context, environmental conditions, and future communication requirements.
