Abstract: A vehicle door outer handle device (20) includes: a handle (25) rotatable between a storage position in which the handle is stored in a base (21) and a normal operation position in which the handle is rotated to a vehicle exterior side; a transmission lever (30) configured to rotate in conjunction with rotation of the handle (25); and a switch (35) configured to electrically operate a door latch device (10) attached to a door (1). The switch (35) maintains an ON state by contact of the transmission lever (30) when the handle (25) is rotated from the storage position toward the normal operation position, and is switched to an OFF state by separation of the transmission lever (30) when the handle (25) is rotated to the normal operation position.
