Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a vehicle-mounted evidence capture and reporting system for traffic-rule violation enforcement. The system comprises a camera mounting assembly coupled to a dashboard region, windshield region, or rear-view mirror region of a reporting vehicle, and a video camera unit supported at a predetermined viewing angle to capture traffic-condition video in front of the reporting vehicle. A location module associates location data with the video, an audio input unit associates a voice message with the video, and a communication module transfers the video, location data, and voice message to a user computing device. An application-server arrangement receives a user submission including the video, location data, voice message, user identifier, and timestamp, performs content checking, video analysis, location verification, vehicle registration number identification, submission validation, electronic challan generation, record storage, and acknowledgement transmission.
